AIS:PKD flashback
Ok, this week our AIS series makes somewhat of a sideways progression forward. To mark the wide release opening of the new Richard Linklater adaptation of Philip K Dick's Scanner Darkly (a film all about the surveillance society) we are offering a TOE flashback. Our very first program, a look at the legacy of Saint Phil as I like to call him - LISTEN
As for the movie, I have to say I wish it could have been longer - I think that you need a lot of time to convey the madness of 3 dudes sitting around talking drug philosophy, in the film these interactions come off a bit how do I say it.. cartoony. heh Also Robert Downey Jr. totally steals the show, eclipsing everyone else - but with all the global warming and all I most definitely recommend seeing this film in a cool theater this weekend.
Its not like we are not working here at TOE, this week alone we finally have the Myspace page, the Flickr account and the Youtube page up! See you on the Internets.
