The lawyers arguing for the dismissal of any discussion regarding citizen spying were not the only ones professing their love for Orwellian nonsense:

"They are smart. They are creative. They are committed. They have no regard for human life, neither ours nor their own," [Commander of Joint Task Force-Guantanamo, Rear Admiral Harry] Harris said. "I believe this was not an act of desperation, but rather an act of asymmetrical warfare waged against us"...

Yes, three men who have been held without any due process and with the understanding that their internment could be indefinite - commit suicide and its THEIR FAULT.

The great Alicublog sums it up best: Fox News announced it would refer henceforth to such suicides as "homicide suicides," to let viewers know that they were actually attacks on American self-esteem.

What self-esteem?
