Everett True online
Everett True was a comic strip hero from 1906. There was only one reprint book made, and after years of looking for it - I finally found it earlier this summer. Now, thanks to the fine folks at the recently launched Barnaclepress, you can follow his adventures online.
The setup of the strip is extremely simple, in that wonderful turn-of-the-(last)-century way. In the first panel, Everett is subjected to one of the many common annoyances, indignations, and outrages that are foisted upon each of us daily.
In the second, he beats someone up.
Barniclepress provides scans from the book here, but make sure you check out the entire site. loads of great stuff.
